holy smokes, it's HOT out. It should be illegal to be this hot at 9am. I finished cleaning the junk out of my car and wiping down everything... now I must find the energy to go vacuum it. ick. Ya know, I never realized till recently that people can pay to have their car cleaned. I always thought "detailing" meant painting those tacky stripes on the outside of the car. I'm dumb sometimes.

I've always thought detailing meant the same thing. I guess I might have guessed that people can pay to have their car cleaned out, but I've never pursued the option (besides having a bit of vacuuming done as part of oil change packages).

I'm glad I'm not the only one :) It seems pretty silly to pay $50+, when it took 25 minutes and $4.50 to do myself.

I've been meaning to clean my own car out for some time...but it's too fucking hot! And I don't think there's any way for me to get the car into my air-conditioned apartment....

Fifty bucks? In LA it's a $7.95 job. But then, it's done by illegal immigrants. So.
